Marketing Strategies keep evolving with every new platform that keeps getting introduced above the updates that the regular platforms receive.
Every social media giant wants to have the piece of the pie and they will do all it takes to make sure they stay on the top!
We have recently seen IGTV (Instagram TV) which is following the Story format style for videos and those traditional YouTube Creators are having some difficulties as they have to create content on multiple platforms in different video sizes.
But that said, Instagram is still one of the most popular Social Media Giants among the others.
2018 is the year to look at Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and other Social media handles like LinkedIn obsessively!
You will find people of all ages using various social media handles and if you don’t make use of the opportunity, you are surely going to lose out on something important.
Among the social media handles, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat provide you with better chances of winning over your audience in a wide age Gamut. While LinkedIn is for the people who have corporate products and would be having harder time finding their right audience on other social media platforms.
You will be surprised to know that people aged between 50 and 80 years are the largest audience you can have using social media. They are the people who have the patience and time to consume the videos, content and ads better than a 29-year-old. So, if you wish to build your brand effectively, use Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat to the maximum.
But there is more than just selecting the right platform! You must understand the intricacies of the each and find the right platform that best suits your requirement.
#1. Low Ad Cost!
Today, Facebook, Instagram and Snapchat are the places where everyone must think of investing in. Facebook and Instagram have Ads that are disproportionately under-priced. Also, the Facebook and Instagram influencers are under-priced. The cost of creating ads is less today than it will be in near future.
As an entrepreneur you must leverage the current opportunity.
Also, remember simply having a huge number of followers on Twitter and Instagram should not be the agenda of the Ads that you create. Make sure to have an engagement with your audience.
For instance, if you have posted an interesting image and people have liked and commented on it, it is imperative that you reply them and keep them engaged. This will enable you to build a better and stronger relationship with a larger network of users.
#2. Build Better Creatives
This is an important strategy to gain attention from your potential customers and clients so make sure you include compelling images and video as a part of your marketing strategy.
If the Creative Sucks so will the Campaign...
If you do not have the right people, outsource it to some freelancers by which you will cut your costs and thereby build a campaign that is worth looking at!
#3. Be VERY SPECIFIC!
Nobody wants to see creatives that are confusing and do not talk to the Point!
Talk in context of your Ad. It is more important than the entire content. Avoid jargon and be specific about what you are trying to say.
Suppose you want to target a group of ladies between the ages of 25 and 35 in a particular city. You will have to be specific and use phrases like “Ladies of Mumbai”. This makes it more contextual and will help you target the right audience.
#4. Use Podcasts... Yes they do work!
Implement audio in your campaigns. In the recent years, audio has gained importance over video. Due to time constraints people today prefer listening to than watching a video and so podcast are much in demand today than they were three years ago.
Tie up with some Instagrammer or YuoTuber and get your Podcasts up and running.
